GyanKripa Multistate Co-operative Credit Society Celebrates Women’s Day with Enthusiasm


Mumbai:
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, GyanKripa Multistate Co-operative Credit Society organized a special program for women in Lalbaug under the theme “Celebrating Women’s Power – Celebrating a Secure Future.” The event was held with great enthusiasm and participation.

Under the leadership of Bajirao Shankar Desai, the architect of the GyanKripa Group, the institution has, since its establishment, prioritized the interests of its members. The society has been offering attractive interest rates on deposits and has also provided loan facilities to many people.

During the program, Dr. Alka Tharwal, as the keynote speaker, guided the audience on the importance of women’s economic empowerment. The chief guest of the event, Savita Sakore, Police Inspector of Shivdi Police Station, also shared valuable insights and guidance for women.

Several prominent women working in different sectors of society attended the event as guests. Among them were Bharati Pednekar (newly elected Corporator of Lalbaug, Ward No. 203), Jhuleka Rais Shaikh, Sudha Suresh Meher, Suvarna Prabhu, Charushila Rane, Kirti Shinde, Sunita Shelke, Dhanashree Phatskar, Renuka Khamkar, and Sunita Desai (Director, GyanKripa Multistate Co-operative Credit Society, Navi Mumbai).

From the administration of the institution, under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer Sachin Molavde, the society is steadily progressing on the path of growth. By the year 2030, the institution has set a financial target of achieving ₹2,500 crore in deposits and ₹1,700 crore in loan distribution, with a total financial goal of ₹4,200 crore.
