Mumbai: Bollywood comedy entertainer Welcome to the Jungle has brought together a large ensemble of established actors and popular performers. Girdhar Swami is credited as the film’s Casting Director.
Among the prominent performers associated with the film are veteran actors Farida Jalal and Kiran Kumar, along with Akshara Singh, Mukesh Tiwari, Sudesh Berry, Hemant Pandey, Brijendra Kala, Zakir Hussain and several other well-known artists.
A special highlight is Bhojpuri superstar Akshara Singh, who features alongside Akshay Kumar in the energetic song “Ghis Ghis Ghis.” Her presence adds another popular regional talent to the film’s large Bollywood ensemble.
For Girdhar Swami, Welcome to the Jungle marks another significant addition to a career spanning more than 18 years. He began his Bollywood journey with 3 Idiots (2009) and went on to work on films including Rowdy Rathore (2012), Calendar Girls (2015), Wazir and Sanam Teri Kasam (2016), Babumoshai Bandookbaaz (2017), Andhadhun (2018), Coolie No. 1 (2020) and Yaariyan 2 (2023).
His work on Sanam Teri Kasam also included the casting of Harshvardhan Rane, adding another notable milestone to his casting career.
With Welcome to the Jungle, Girdhar Swami adds another large-scale multi-starrer to his professional portfolio, further highlighting his contribution to Bollywood’s casting landscape.
