Mumbai: The upcoming pan-India mythological fantasy film ‘Karmasthal’ is nearing completion and is gearing up for release. The film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada as ‘Karamsthalam’, while the Hindi version will be titled ‘Karmasthal’.
Directed by young South Indian filmmaker Rocky Sharman and produced by Harshvardhan Shinde, the film presents Indian mythology in a modern cinematic format by reimagining Indian gods as superheroes. The project blends mythological storytelling with contemporary visual effects and emotional depth.
Music for the film is composed by Sai Karthik, and the cast includes Divi Vadthya, Archana, Arvind Krishna, Prince Cecil, Baahubali Prabhakar, among others. Shot primarily in Hyderabad, nearly 80 percent of the talkie portions have been completed, with the remaining shoot scheduled for February–March.
The film’s casting and production design are handled by GFA, Hyderabad, while Deepak Baldev Thakur, founder of Glitter Film Academy, is associated with the project as its Business Head. The makers have confirmed a pan-India release, with further details to be announced soon.
